Back to the adventures of our fictitious(imaginary in case you din't know the meaning :P) characters Rahul and Neha, saving the world from boredom :P
Well...the title seems interesting....its about luck and how some people get a lot of advantages with that luck.
"So what is this fight about", asked Neha (N).
"Nothin that major, actually i managed to piss off a friend of mine", said Rahul (R).
Yes we are back to the adventures of Rahul and Neha, my crusaders for justice, entertainment and yes the names are filmy i know :P
Neha(N): "Y what did u do this time around, take another panga?", Giggles Neha.
Rahul(R): turning visibly mad "No smarty, there was this girl who thinks she is the prettiest person on campus, so it annoys me".
N: "Y should it annoy you of all people?"
R: "Coz i know that she's pretty and all, but why does she have to brag about it."
N: "So what did you do Mr Sarcasm?", can't stop giggling
R: "As usual my sarcastic comments pissed her off. But then I had to go and make amends and manofy her."(mano fy isn't a real word, its Mumbai slang for Manana + fy = manofy, a little gyaan never hurt anyone...lol)
N: "oho , so Mr Rahul to the rescue of another damsel in distress?", laughed Neha
R: "No, just that i din't want to make a big issue of my comment. But tell me one simple fact, why do people who are lucky enough to get good looks always take advantage of it? Why can't they ever be normal?"
N: "Well, my innocent friend, that is LIFE."
Rahul falls silent.
N: "But that doesn't mean they always succeed with it, and you never hear the average looking ones being called "dumb" do u? so cheer up and i have that treat pending, so lets go."
Curtain falls.
Come to think of it, we all know since the day we were born, that each one of us is different. We are born with different talents, some of us are good looking (yes, some not all, isn't that sad) while some are intelligent.
We always know that the pretty girl gets all the attention as against the average looking girl. But this doesn't mean she always succeeds in life. Luck can surely give you a head start, but thats it. After that its your hard work and perseverance that gets you past the finish line.
Yes, life is unfair, but that just makes it more interesting, doesn't it.

Good observance I must say. Only because some people look 'less' good other people can look 'more' good :)
They look good because of their lesser counterparts without whom the better looking ones would have no one to compare them with !
@Ankur: true, looks are not that important, what matters is how the person is in behavior. Just thinking no end of yourself because of looks is just stupid.

@Athulya: I don't totally agree. Beauty is power indeed, but you cannot become successful in life solely because of that . You also need to have hard work and perseverance. Beauty without brains, is like a lavish apartment with no people inside.
u wudnt be saying ths if u had to c all the beautiful actresses v have...thy r actresses becoz thy hav prety face...not coz thy knw to act..let alone being inteligent....nd mind it thy hav made a hell lot of money nd goregous apartments...nd these birdbrains r staying in thm queensize....lolzzzzzzz
@Athulya: I agree that beautiful actresses are just pretty faces who make a lot of money. But just look at any successful actress who made it big. They have worked very hard for it. Nothing comes easy. Every actress that enters the movie industry is equally pretty, but only some make it big. Why is that? Unless you are from a filmy background it is your hard work , apart from the casting couch that gets you ahead.
true....but dearie....the botom line is first to get in the leaugue the first requirment is to be prety....dnt u agree....i never denied hard works not der...but a prety face is alwaz at an advantage...tel me will u date a grl whoes prety or whos ugly but very inteligent....tel tel
@Athulya: Yes, i agree. To enter the movie industry you have to be good looking. But as I have mentioned in my blog, looks can only get you to a certain point. After that it is your hard work that gives you success. As far as dating is concerned, I would prefer an average looking intelligent girl any day compared to a good looking dumb one.
ohhh plsssssssssssss..dnt give me dat.....firstly none is as dumb as it thy show it in films.....even a beautiful grl will hav a normal average inteligence....nd dnt tel me dat u will prefer a average looking grl over a beautiful babe....lair....men jus want trofy wives or girlfrnds besides thm...dats all..brains ka achar dalega??????
@Athulya: that is why it is called "movies", most of it is false. I never said that a beautiful girl will not be smart. What i said was that beauty cannot be considered the sole reason for success in most cases. Sure there are some exceptions. But in most cases, beauty has to be accompanied by hard work.You can't deny that. And as far as the wife is concerned, i agree that good looks attract.....but marriage ke baad kya sirf uski face ka achar dalunga? lolz.
c u still not getg the point.....first place pe face does atract....nd its only later dat the brain cums into focus....given a choice of two grls havg same inteligence...but one havg average looks nd otehr expctionaly beautiful...whom wud u chose..??????tel tel...
@Athu: see...you are changing the focus. The comparison was between a beautiful girl with no brains and an average girl with brains. In that case the average girl wins. But now if you compare 2 people with the same level of intelligence, the one with the better looks will win , but mind you, not in all cases. If that good looking girl's behavior is rotten , she will lose, atleast in my case, dunno about the rest.
im not changing the focus...its jus dat none can be as dumb as u saying....almost all grls r born wit same inteligence....super intelilects not included...but ne ne case wne it cums to guys practicaly everyone wil first look at how presentable teh grl is ....bot behvaiour being roten....dat aplies even fr a average looking grl..doesnt it....??????
@Athulya: 1. I never said that "all girls are not born with same intelligence". The point was even if you are good looking, you have to work hard to become ultimately successful. There are perks to being good looking , but those are not the end of the road.
2. Yes most guys do look at girls just for their looks. But looking at just looks and nothing else is considered being "shallow" .
3. The topic of discussion was "beauty is not everything". So if you are denying that then any one will tell you that your assumption is incorrect.
