winner takes it all!

It just struck me yesterday, like a big yellow schoolbus. Why do we behave like we do? Why do we do the things that make us smile, make us feel like living, why? Coz ultimately its just a matter of time before it all breaks down. We know so little about when things can disappear just like that.

I know m sounding philosophical n all.....but its all a new realization. Read on......gets better.....;)

Back to the adventures of our fictitious(imaginary in case you din't know the meaning :P) characters Rahul and Sameera, saving the world from boredom :P

So we have a story of a boy lets call him Rahul,....naam toh suna hi hoga :P....couldnt help maro that dialogue. Now Rahul n his gf (girlfriend u retards :P....lolz) we goin steady for a while . All was good in paradise. They were destined to be together.....but who know what life had in store for them . Sameera, Rahul's gf....heroine's entry starts :P....yeah u wish :P....
Nwys, Sameera was an independent , cheerful, gorgeous n sweet gal. So whts new rite?.....Stop interruptin n listen. So where was I ? ohh yeah.....Sameera was very n unlike Rahul , they had nothin in common . But that seemed to be what brought them together. It started on 1 rainy day. Rahul was waiting on the bus stand .....BEST (Mumbai ) buses.....never there when you need it . It was pouring down bad. It was the last bus home. Rahul thought, "damn, this bus had to be late today. Its raining n m gettin late......oh there is the freakin bus....". So nwys he gets on it n wishes dat his night would go in peace. Little did he know his life was about to be changed.


As the bus was about to leave, a pretty girl came running behind.....Rahul saw her comin.....she wasn't gonna make it.....he held out her hand.....she caught on. He pulled her in. I know its filmy....but life is dont u think! :P So they started chattin n turned out they had a couple of friends in common. Friendship turned to love. They were a blissful couple. All was well.


Present day, Rahul was having a tough time with his studies, but managing thru. Sameera was a focussed girl u see. She came up to Rahul one day n said " I have a rishta from a well settled boy ". Rahul thought she was jokin. But she was serious. He said " So?" Sameera replied, " I'm considering it...." Rahul was shocked. He said ," I can't believe it , why?" Sameera said, " I know its hard , but in my culture I need to settle down with a well to do boy, you still have to get your life together, I cant wait that long, I hope you understand.". Rahul n Sameera parted ways. He was heartbroken. Sameera did send him an invitation but he never went , how could he?


A couple of years passed by, Sameera was now well settled with her husband in New York, wife of software professional in US u see ...... She did try to contact Rahul a couple of times . But there was no trace. Rahul in the meanwhile had moved on. He got a new inspiration in life, to prove Sameera wrong. Even he could do it. He started workin hard . He got his life together, joined a good company n was now settled (so to speak). He hoped he could show Sameera how much he had achieved some day.


Rahul had a company party to go to dat nite. It was in New York's finest hotel, all red carpet event. ...I know wht you are thinkin..same old story...but read on...So he had this meeting, and then he gets the big contract. He is rushed to India to start work . Then he starts workin late shifts. On one such day , his car breaks down, its pouring as usual, bus comes. He gets in....den as it begins to move.....a voice is heard...dat same voice....could it be.......nah no way.....but he holds out his hand to help the person anyway. He gets the girl into the bus. To his suprise its Sameera, both of them are shocked. She asks about why he dint stay in contact , he says " Some things are better left alone...." There is silence. She suspects hes not settled even now, but notices the expensive suit, he says hes workin in a good MNC n is here on a project. She says " why dint you ever call me?. I totally misunderstood you". Rahul thinks for a minute, n says " Sameera, u n I had somethin special, I couldve conquered the world for you, but u never understood me......when you left....I was shattered. I realized that you should've gotten better n you did the right thing n I'm happy for you. That was the time i started afresh n reached where I am today. But anyways, why am I tellin you all this. What are you doin in India?" Sameera replies " I'm here to visit ma parents". Suddenly Rahul's cellphone rings, a woman's voice can be heard. Rahul replies " Hey darlin, m fine, just finished off the project . Will be back in New York next week. I want you to meet a special friend of mine". He hands over the phone to Sameera n says "Sameera, my fiance wants to say hi". Silence in the air.....
